実り多い数日 inspiring days

１１月も終わりに近づき、いよいよ冬らしくなってきました。

日が沈むのも早く、今年もあと一ヶ月あまり。

　そんな中、先週の和バライベントに続き、

あこがれの芦屋のアイロニーさんに

リースレッスンに出かけました。

今月のミセスにも読者プレゼントにもなっているという

森のリース。

緑だけでつくるリースにも、やはりアイロニーらしさがいっぱい。

一度レッスンを受けたいと常々思っていたので、

期待大です。

当日は残念ながら、谷口さんは東京でしたが、

お弟子さんから、しっかり伝授していただきました。

ひたすら、しめ縄のようにリースを編んで行く、

イギリスでもやったことがないこのメソッド。

かなり気に入りました。

今っぽいエアープランツもお洒落です。

手がまっくろ、服もホコリだらけでしたが、

枝を編む作業、最高に楽しかったです。

Nearly end of November it is getting chilly outside ,

I realize winter has come.

After the rose event of last weekend I went to Christmas wreath lesson in Ashiya.

Florist Jardin du I'llony is now one of the popular flower shop I believe.

I wanted to attend a lesson one day, so this time Christmas wreath lesson.

It was quite right, full of tips  , also full of fun.

That method was different from any other lessons I 've ever had.

I like that.

Just like knitting one twig to another making a wreath shape!!

 Adding  air plants is very unique idea and also very cool!!

そして昨日は、母校を訪れました。

”今伝えたい、未来にはばたく後輩達へ

　　　　　世界で活躍する関学同窓生からのメッセージ”

なるイベントに、主人がゲストスピーカーとして呼ばれたため、

私も卒業生として、聴講することに。

もう一人のスピーカーは、在学中にプロボクサーとして活躍、

現在はタイ在住で、起業されている方。

なかなか興味深い話が聞けそうです。

Yesterday I and my husband visited our old university.

My husband was invited as a guest speaker for an event

to make a speech about episode of working abroad.

Another guest speaker who lives in Thailand more than 25years

was a professional boxer during university.

He started his own business there.

His episode must be very interesting.

なつかしい時計台に続く道。

あいにくの天気ですが、紅葉がすすみとても綺麗。

現役のころは、季節の移ろいも、自然も、

全く目に入らなかったのですが、

こんなに自然豊かで、きれいだったとは、

年もとってみるもんです。

That clock tower reminds me the days I used to walk this road with friends.

The weather was not so good, but leaves turn red and yellow, just beautiful.

At that days I didn't care about this beautiful scenery,

but now I am this age, I love beauty of nature.

Getting older is not so bad.

時計台のバックに見えるお椀を伏せたような、かわいいフォルムの甲山。

紅葉がすすみ、とても綺麗。

　散策のあと、イベントに参加。

現役生１００名以上が参加する大盛況。

ゲストスピーカーの話が終わったあとは、各テーブルに別れ、

質疑応答。

一応海外の結構タフな環境で子育てした私にも、学生たちがいろんな

質問をしてくれて、とっても有意義な時間となりました。

我々のころによりも、はるかにまじめでやる気がある、、、

日本の将来も心配ない、、と思った次第。

若いエネルギーもたくさんいただき、

とても楽しいイベントとなりました。

The small mountain behind the clock tower is called " kabutoyama "

looks beautiful with red and yellow leaves.

 After short walk we attended the event that was full of students, more than one hundred.

After interesting speech there was a table discussion with students.

Some students asked me about life abroad.

They are lovely youngster,

so I am sure the future of Japan would be good.
